I installed this mirror as part of a complete guest bathroom remodel. I am very pleased with the mirror thus far.Installation (mounting): The mirror was fairly easy to install. I installed it on a tiled wall, so the 4 anchors/screws had to go through the tile. For it’s size, the mirror is fairly lightweight. Mounting holes are placed in a square pattern. One downside I would mention is that the mirror does not come with a mounting template, which would have made the process easier. Without a template, I simply measured the distances between the mounting points and then marked the wall with the aid of a level.Installation (wiring): The mirror comes with a standard 110v receptacle plug. During the remodel, I had an electrician install a junction box directly behind the mirror location, and removed the standard above mirror vanity light fixture. I chose to clip off the plug on the mirror and wired it directly to the wires in the junction box. Wiring was extremely simple – two wires; black to black and white to white. My mirror is controlled by a standard wall switch. The cord on the mirror is quite long, so it would be quite easy to simply plug it in to a receptacle if that’s what one wishes to do.Functionality: As other reviewers have mentioned, this mirror is not going to light up your entire bathroom. That is not what I wanted it for. My bathroom has a ceiling light fixture which provides the majority of the lighting. For me, the purpose of the mirror was for direct personal care lighting. In that respect, the mirror performs excellently. The touch controls for dimmer and color temp change work very well. The lighting of the mirror produces what I feel is an excellent touch of accent lighting in the bathroom, as well.Overall I’m very pleased with the mirror. I’ve gotten many compliments on it. I feel it significantly adds to the modern and updated vibe of the bathroom.
This mirror is easy to install…I love the defogger, it works perfectly. The led light always works well.
I am re-doing my small bathroom and have a 30” vanity to work with, this 28’ in, round mirror with the LED around It tied everything together to make it all look spacious and modern! I also love how many functions it has for lighting and defogging for a small space too. Luckily, the mirror is super streamlined and light too, can easily be lifted and installed by me if I had too. I like that it can be plugged in for a non-bathroom setting or hardwired easily and came with all the installment hardware necessary. Really worthwhile product!!
Still working on the wall behind it but it made the bathroom look so much more modern and updated than a regular mirror
